Council on Aging · Meeting of January 14, 2026

HOLBROOK — Council on Aging approves revised $359,282.60 FY27 budget with $80,560 increase. Director Holly Rose, working with the town accountant, revised the budget on January 13 after it was submitted to the Finance Committee on December 31; the increase reflects a $4,340.96 correction to the COA Coordinator hourly rate, a $12,937.16 increase for three part-time principal clerk positions, the $8,778.87 transfer of the Outreach Coordinator from a formula grant to the town budget, and a new $59,129.96 Clerk union position requested by the town rather than the COA. The board unanimously approved the budget and Rose will present detailed line-by-line justification to the Finance Committee on January 22.
