Holbrook Announces Water Storage Tank Cleaning And Inspection
The Town of Holbrook announced Tuesday that its water storage tank will undergo cleaning and inspection, a routine maintenance step for the town's water system. The notice comes as residents also look ahead to early voting for next week's State Primary and a stretch of town board meetings.

Holbrook's water department posted a News Flash on Tuesday alerting residents to the upcoming cleaning and inspection of the town's water storage tank, according to the town website. The announcement did not specify a start date or expected duration for the work.
The notice follows Monday's paving alert for Overlook Road, a story the town's News Flash also covered this week, and comes amid a summer in which Holbrook has managed several water system issues, including earlier PFAS testing updates and water use restrictions.

Early voting for the September 1 State Primary opens in Holbrook on Wednesday and continues Thursday, according to the town's public calendar. The Zoning Board of Appeals and the Select Board are both scheduled to meet Wednesday, followed by the Finance Committee on Thursday.
Water and sewer bills are due Monday, August 31, the town's calendar shows.
