Holbrook Enacts Phase 2 Water Restrictions Amid Summer Demand

HOLBROOK — Holbrook moved to Phase 2 water restrictions on July 17, tightening outdoor water use rules as the town heads deeper into summer, according to a town News Flash alert.

TOWN HALL

The town's Phase 2 Water Restrictions took effect July 17, according to a News Flash notice posted the same morning. The move follows the recent startup of the new Tri-Town Water Treatment Plant, announced by the Randolph/Holbrook Joint Water Board earlier this month, and signals rising seasonal demand on the shared water system serving Holbrook and Randolph. Residents should check the town website for specifics on what outdoor watering activities are limited under the new phase.

Town Hall also posted a new job opening for a Principal Clerk in the Assessor's Office on July 16, adding to a string of recent municipal hiring notices that included part-time Council on Aging positions posted earlier in the week.

SCHOOLS

Holbrook Public Schools' most recent posted news centers on the Proposed FY27 School Budget, available for review on the district website. No new district announcements were posted in the current coverage window, though the district calendar and school committee meeting schedule remain the best sources for upcoming dates as the 2026-2027 school year approaches.
