Holbrook Little League fundraiser and a 10U softball date top a quiet week on local sports calendars.

HOLBROOK -- No Holbrook High School games were reported for the week of July 27 through Aug. 2, and no new items appeared from the town recreation department.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Holbrook Little League's website lists two dates newly on the calendar: a 10U game listed as "TBD @ 10U - Lady Bulldogs Picardi" set for Aug. 20 at the Holbrook-Sumner Field Complex softball diamond, and the Rotary Cow Pie Bingo event set for Sept. 12 at Holbrook-Flint Field. The league describes its mission as providing "instruction in baseball and softball for children between the ages of 4 and 18."
