Holbrook Water Sampling Notice Arrives as Phase 2 Restrictions Continue
Holbrook issued a new water sampling notice this week as the town's Phase 2 outdoor water-use restrictions, now in their second month, remain in effect. The notice was posted to the town's website Aug. 3 without additional detail on the sampling program.
TOWN HALL
The Water Sampling Letter, posted to the town's website earlier this month, comes as Holbrook continues to enforce Phase 2 water restrictions first announced July 17, limiting outdoor water use across town through the summer.
The restrictions and the sampling notice both tie back to Holbrook's water system, which the town operates jointly with Randolph. The Randolph/Holbrook Joint Water Board announced the startup of a new tri-town water treatment plant earlier this summer, part of the two towns' shared water infrastructure.
COMING UP
The Conservation Commission meets Monday, Aug. 10. The Board of Assessors and the Board of Health both meet Tuesday, Aug. 11, according to the town's public calendar.
